The Headshot In A Flash sessions are geared more towards business/corporate/industry professionals who want to tell prospective employers and clients that "I am serious about my career". Headshot In A Flash Photographers are available Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Normally, our booking times are fixed. If those don't work for you, please use the contact form in the "Help" section and select Booking > Custom Booking to tell us about the times that work for you. Alternatively, you can call us. We would be happy to accommodate!
Currently, we are offering our services in Chicagoland area only. However, we hope to expand to other areas soon. Stay tuned!
We have a dedicated portal just for you to retrieve your photos. When your photo session is done, we will post process your photos and add them to our Headshot Gallery. Don't worry, this is a private gallery and you will be sent an email when your photos are ready.
Absolutely! Every session can accommodate 6 people. If you sign up with your friends and peers, you can save up to 66% on every individual's headshot. Here's the price break with discount per individual:
You will! The photographer will be equipped with a laptop/tablet that will show you your headshot in real time! We will confirm that you are satisfied with your headshot before the session concludes.
Every individual will get two final photos, though more than likely, we will shoot multiple shots in multiple poses to make sure we get two fabulous shots of you.
Your photos come with a standard license allowing you to use them on your online profile, prints or any other promotional medium. The license does not come with selling rights so the only thing you can't do is sell your photograph. Reasonable huh?
You photos will more than likely be ready within 72 hours but we cannot guarantee this time as some photos require more editing than others. If you need your photos sooner, we would be happy to expedite the post-processing for a small fee of $50 per photo. With the expedited service, you can get your photo within 24 hours of the shoot.
No problem! We would be happy to make the requested edits if they can be done. Please contact us using the Contact Us form to get a quote.
There are no hidden fees whatsoever! The price you pay for the services listed in the your order will be the final price. Any optional and additional services you need such as expedited post processing, extra edits, etc. will be separate transactions.
You can book a minimum of 24 hours in advance and up to 3 months. However, we can definitely try to work with you if that range falls short of your needs.
Yes! However, you are limited to 6 individuals per block/session (per hour). You will also be saving money if you book for a group. Please see the "Do you offer discounts?" under the General category.

Certainly! But please be advised that in order for you to receive a full refund, you will have to notify us 24 hours prior to your booking. Cancellation request made within 24 hours will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.
Of course! Multiple bookings however, cannot be made through our booking system unless you are willing to make bookings several hours apart. To book adjacent times, multiple days, etc., Please use the contact form below to get in touch with us. Please select the "Multiple Bookings" topic.
Sadly, we are not offering this option at this time. You are welcome to create multiple bookings however. Please contact us so we can figure out the best options for you.
The "My Place" background option refers to using the environment of your choice as the background. Meaning, instead of using the backdrops we use, you will scope out an area in your office/building that can serve as a good backdrop to your photos. If you would like our opinion on the matter, you are welcome to snap a photo of each scene and send it to us using the contact form below. Please select the "My Place" topic.
Absolutely! If you use our booking system, while you will be able to book multiple booking sessions, they will have to be 3 hours apart. However, if you would like to book us for adjacent hours, please contact us using the form below and select "Multiple Bookings" as your topic.
Yes! We do require a 24 hour notice prior to your session in order for us to make the necessary changes, provided we can. If you could not contact us in time, please call us immediately and we try to accommodate your change.
That is entirely up to you. Our job is to make you look your best. Given that it is a professional photography session, regardless of what you decide to wear, please ensure that your clothes are ironed and presentable.
Yes! For one person sessions, you can change however many outfits as you'd like. For group sessions however, you may not get a chance as every individual will be allocated a limited time for their shoot. For a session comprising of 6 people, every person will get 10 minutes. In this situation, you can bring one additional outer garment to change quickly in the middle of the shoot.
Every session/block is an hour long and can accommodate 6 people.
The amount of time individuals get in a group session depends on the size of the group. Here's a the breakdown:

We need 400 square feet (20'x20') of space to do our job well. Although we can manage with a smaller space, 400 sq. ft. means that we can be more creative with our photography.
Due to a limited time and with many variables involved, this is not something we can accommodate at this time. This is why we have added visual aids during the booking process to give you some sense of how each background will look.
We understand, life happens! If you are late to a session and we can still salvage it, then all is well! If a re-shoot is needed, the photographer will work on a solution for you on the day of the shoot. If you miss your session entirely, please contact us and we can work something out. Please use the topic "Missed Session" and we will get back to you. You are entitled to one free make up Session.
Yes, possibly. This all depends on how much time the photographer has remaining once all of the scheduled individuals are photographed. If time does permit for the new individual(s) to be photographed, photographer will need to create a booking and collect payment on-location before the new individual can be photographed. Standard rates will apply.
